Conject deal boosts Aconex revenue growth

Last month (23 August), Australia-based Software-as-a-Service construction collaboration software vendor Aconex announced its financial results for the year to 30 June 2016, revealing underlying organic revenue growth of 31%, with the acquisition of Conject (completed on 31 March 2016) boosting total revenue growth to 50%. Total Aconex revenue was Au$123.4 million (c. US$93.3m, £70.1m, €82.8m), compared with …

Aconex SaaS growth continues

Impressive 2015 revenue growth underlines Aconex’s AEC SaaS leadership position. Melbourne, Australia-based SaaS construction collaboration technology provider Aconex has announced an impressive set of half-year results, covering the six months up to 31 December 2015. They show the business grew its global revenues by 46%, from Au$38.1m in 2014 (see A rosy Aconex financial update) to Au$55.7m (c …

Envision expanding capabilities

Australia’s Envision has developed into a powerful data hub well-suited to mega-projects. It’s almost five years since I was first contacted by Ennova’s Hugh Hofmeister to talk about the Brisbane, Australia-based company’s Envision construction project management platform (see May 2011 post). Then, a mobile-first approach to cloud-based construction management was relatively new, as was applying lean thinking, …

Keystone disappears in Incite rebrand

Almost underlining that it is just focused on its internal group customers, Australia-based SaaS construction collaboration technology provider Incite (aka Nexus Point Solutions – part of the Leighton Holdings group) has reduced its website to a single page. Incite and Nexus Point Solutions now share equal billing at the page top, and there is a selection of Leighton group business …

St Valentine’s Day massacre leaves Incite almost out-of-sight

Briefly one of the innovators of the SaaS construction collaboration technology market, Australia-based Incite has suffered under recent heavy-handed management by parent Leighton Holdings. A couple of years ago, I did some consultancy work for Sydney, Australia-based construction collaboration technology vendor Incite (aka Nexus Point Solutions Pty Ltd). At the time (April 2009), the two …

Be2Awards update: Best AEC collaboration application shortlist

I wrote a couple of weeks ago (Want to win “Best AEC collaboration application” at the Be2Awards?) about the built environment social media awards, the 2011 Be2Awards, that I am helping organise. Online nominations for the awards closed at the end of last week, and online voting across the 16 categories started on Monday 24 …

A first look in the Incite Toolbox

In June (as I posted), I met Sean Kaye and Michael Baker of Australia-based construction collaboration vendor Incite. We talked about Incite’s new project collaboration tool and platform, Incite Keystone, amid a wide-ranging chat about collaboration, file-sharing, social media and other topics, and we’ve stayed in contact ever since, mainly through Twitter but also through …
