I’ve noticed a couple of press announcements about new file viewers recently. Nemetschek has released a universal viewing tool for IFCs (industry foundation classes), extending the firm’s support for IFCs (see Nemetschek news release). Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC) has announced the latest release of its MYRIAD 3D/2D CAD viewer.
