Soluis was the official technology partner at the recent Digital Construction Week in London, and has been pioneering approaches to virtual and augmented reality. SaaS social support

Using social media for customer support is commonplace in many global corporations but old-school construction SaaS vendors lag behind new start-ups in its adoption. Use of social media for customer service has been on my mind a bit recently. Last week, I provided some Twitter training to CIOB branch administrators and one of the questions related to …

Complementing Google Genie, Project Tango could revolutionise on-site real-time data capture, and Geniebelt sees such innovations as the future. Simple collaboration still competitive

I enjoyed a chat with Colin Barnes, CEO of Manchester, UK-based SaaS construction collaboration vendor Collabor8online, recently. His business launched in late 2009 (post) and is pitched at the competitive, small-to-medium sized business (SME), low-cost end of the construction collaboration market (post), but that hasn’t stopped him developing features emulating some of the more sophisticated …

HonestBuildings.com launches UK ‘buildings network’

Honest Buildings, launched in the UK today, may look like another business networking site, but this one puts the buildings themselves at the heart of its connections, with their sustainability open to scrutiny, and scope to integrate with other platforms.
